-Great looking sunburst silver dial
-Solid case and robust movement
-Domed acrylic gives a nice vintage look
-Excellent value

These Amphibias are some of the best value mechanical watches money can buy. The included rubber strap is nice, but I highly recommend picking up one of the excellent mesh bracelets. Shipping was very fast and the watch arrived in perfect condition, would not hesitate to purchase from Meranom again!

Hands do not contrast well against the dial making it not so legible

I bought this as a gift for my wife, she loves the "scuba dude", and she has worn it every day since; great job Vostok!
The legibility is a minor issue that can be corrected with blued hands (hopefully they will be available soon!).
Even with this minor complaint I still rate this watch 5 stars. I presented the watch to her with a white strap and she loved it, it is a perfect size for her wrist. Replacing the silver hands for the blued hands will make this a very sharp timepiece!

Beautiful dial, comfortable strap, nice case design.

Very nice watch fir those with smaller wrists.
I highly recommended the Meranom mesh strap for this watch.

- well priced for the value
- silicone strap feels great and has perfect length
- not as shiny as i was expecting
- has illumination
- it has all the vostok lables one would want(scuba dude, vostok logo, amphibia, 200m wr, made in russia)

- the dial is too small for my taste, only 3cm
- the color pallette makes low cotnrast ratio between the dial and the hands
- small hands(small dial, duh)
- looks a bit like a toy watch than a "real" one
- top heavy, a bit too thick, maybe steel bracele would equalize the weight more
- besel could be stiffer or have clicks
- the strap could be wider

This is my first mechanical watch and I was not into watches before so I did some research and I knew what I was getting but I was not sure what exactly I'll get. The biggest downside of this watch is the small dial, for my hand, 3cm is just too small and the contrast of this model makes the handles hard to "read". The hands should have been black or other dark color. Other than that, I think this watch will outlive me without any issues :)
The parcel was labeled as broken watch/return so it went through the customs without any issues and it took about two weeks to get into EU.
